Cranial osteopathy is a gentle, subtle treatment to alleviate stresses and tensions throughout the body, including the head and is used in a wide range of conditions for people of all ages from birth to old age.
Cranial osteopaths are trained to feel very subtle, rythmical changes that are present in all body tissue, which is called the Involuntary Motion. It was first described in the early 1900s by Dr William E. Sutherland and its existence was confirmed in a series of laboratory tests in the 1960s and 1970s.
Osteopaths work very gently to help release stresses throughout the body.
